What is the Wesley Foundation?
-
We are the Campus Ministry of The United Methodist Church in ministry with students and young adults in Laramie, Wyoming.
-
We are a welcoming, progressive ministry working to build community and a safe space for young adults to share their faith, ask questions, and talk about God.
-
We welcome all persons and recognize them as unique and sacred children of God.
-
Our name comes from John Wesley, who founded “Methodist” campus ministry in the 1700s at Oxford, England.
Our mission and purpose are to offer young adults a place to belong in community, where they can grow in faith, encounter the holy in worship, and serve others in the name of Jesus Christ.

What we do?
-
We are committed to welcoming all students in a safe place where we can share our faith, our questions, and our doubt.
-
We laugh and we cry.
-
We put our faith in action through service to the community in a variety of ways.
-
We dive into book, Bible and topical studies.
-
We worship together, pray together, and share our lives.
-
We play through game-nights, laser tag, ski days, hiking and other fun stuff.
-
We seek justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8).
